How LingoBinge works
LingoBinge turns Netflix into language practice by swapping a few subtitle words into your target language while you watch. You tap any swapped word to translate it, hear it, and save it, and it comes back for spaced review so it sticks. Here is the whole loop.
1. Install the extension and pick your language
Add LingoBinge to Chrome and choose the language you are learning and roughly your level. That is the whole setup.
2. Play any show on Netflix
LingoBinge reads the subtitles and swaps a small number of words into your target language, chosen to be just challenging enough to learn from but easy enough to follow.
3. Tap a word to translate, hear, and save it
Tap any swapped word for its meaning and pronunciation, and save it with one click. Your show keeps playing.
4. Review the words that matter
Saved words return for quick, optional review on a spaced-repetition schedule, so the ones you keep meeting move into long-term memory.
