Frequently asked questions
- Are months capitalised in Spanish?
- No. Unlike English, Spanish months are written in lowercase unless they begin a sentence, so you write enero, not Enero.
- How do you say the date in Spanish?
- Use el plus the number plus de plus the month, for example el 5 de mayo. The day comes before the month, and the month stays lowercase.
