Months in Korean
Updated July 5, 2026
The months in Korean are formed by adding 월 (wol, month) to a Sino-Korean number, so January is 1월 (irwol) and December is 12월 (sibiwol). There are no separate month names to memorise, just the numbers one to twelve plus 월.
